Eat Drink Boulder is seeking a volunteer to handle our social media, which primarily consists of Facebook and Twitter but could easily be expanded to include Instagram.
Social media is an important part of this food and drink website. Each post we write gets promoted on Twitter and Facebook to almost 2,000 and 500 people respectively. Although these are not gigantic numbers, they are important considering the targeted nature of our audience: foodies in Boulder County.
We are seeking someone with familiarity with Twitter and Facebook who can maintain our accounts and grow our audience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in the food and drink industries who wishes to gain valuable social media marketing experience. You need not be an expert to apply but experience in the platforms is required.
Everyone at Eat Drink Boulder is a volunteer and this position is no exception. We expect this role will take approximately three hours per week or less than 30 minutes per day. We hope to secure someone who can commit to at least 6-12 months. Our social media volunteer will be part of the EDB team, will have access to offers we receive and invites to team get togethers, and will have the option to write articles for the website.
